ABOUT ME
My Story
Before becoming an acupuncturist, I worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in Queenstown. I valued the scientific rigor of the role, but over time I felt drawn toward a more hands-on, patient-centered approach to health.

Through years of training in martial arts and Qi Gong, I developed a deep respect for the body's internal system- not just from a biochemical perspective, but from an energetic and functional one. That interest led me to formally study acupuncture, and I eventually made the decision to leave the laboratory and complete a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) and a Diploma in Tui-Na (Chinese Massage).

After qualifying, I returned to Queenstown to practice. Now, 10 years into my profession- I bring both a scientific foundation and traditional East Asian medical theory into my treatments.

I am now back in the community with my young family and 2 daughters, committed to providing grounded, practical acupuncture care that bridges modern understanding with traditional principles.

My approach is thoughtful, evidence-informed, and rooted in clinical experience. I value clear communication, realistic treatment planning, and helping patients understand what is happening in their body - and why.

Outside of acupuncture I enjoy spending time with my family, training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, running and in winter skiing with my daughters.
